Privacy

The short version

This is a small brochure website. There is no shop, no login, no account, no newsletter and no advertising. The only data it collects on its own is anonymous analytics, and only if you accept it. Everything else you give us, you give us deliberately, by writing to us or by filling in the enquiry form.

What we collect

If you accept analytics

Google Analytics 4 records which pages were viewed, roughly where in the world the visit came from, the type of device, and which site referred you. IP addresses are truncated before storage. We use it to decide what to write next. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from the cookies page. Retained for 14 months, then deleted automatically by Google.

If you decline analytics

An anonymous, cookieless signal that a page was viewed. It cannot be tied to you, to your device, or to any other visit.

If you email us or use the enquiry form

The form sends us an email and stores nothing on this website: there is no database behind it. Either way we keep the message, your address, and whatever you chose to put in it, in our mail system. We use it to answer you and to carry out any work that follows. Lawful basis: legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry, and performance of a contract if we go on to work together. Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted after 24 months.

Server logs

Our host records requests, including IP addresses, for security and diagnostics. Lawful basis: legitimate interest in keeping the site running and defended. Retained short-term by the host.

Who else sees it

Processors

• Hostinger for hosting and server logs.
• Google (Analytics, Fonts, Tag Manager) for analytics processing and asset delivery. Transfers outside the EEA rely on Google's Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
• Our email provider for delivery and storage of correspondence.

Where an enquiry goes

dot-connectors is a collective of independent consultants, each running their own practice. When you write to us, a member of the collective reads your message and passes it to whichever specialist fits the problem. That may be a different person, working under their own company. That routing is the point of the model: you get the person who has done the work before rather than whoever is free.

In data protection terms it means your enquiry is shared with one further independent party. We share only what is needed to answer you, only with the consultant who would take the work, and only for as long as the enquiry is live. If you would rather your message went no further than the person who receives it, say so in the email and we will handle it that way or tell you we cannot help.

What we never do

We do not sell data, we do not share it with advertisers or brokers, and we run no advertising or profiling technology on this site.

Client data we handle during an engagement, meaning the contents of a CRM, an analytics property or a shop backend, is a separate matter, governed by the data processing agreement in that contract. This policy covers this website only.

Yours to use

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent for analytics at any time. One email to hello@dot-connectors.net is enough, and no particular form of words is needed. We reply within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with how we handled a request, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live. In Ireland that is the Data Protection Commission.

Last updated September 2026. If this policy changes materially, the consent banner reappears so the change is not silent.
